“Spreading & Sharing God’s message of Love & Hope”

The Youth Group of Binkley Baptist Church is all about learning from and applying the teachings of Jesus. From the breaking of bread and sharing of meals at our dinner time together, to the opening of our hearts and minds to God’s message of love, we strive to be courageous participants in God’s world. When we gather together for fun or learning or service or worship, we are all encouraged to participate in full. Members and friends of the church alike are invited to seek a home in our Youth Group.

Details

The Youth Group gets together almost every Sunday night at 6:00 pm from September through May. We begin with prayer and a communal meal together in the Fellowship Hall. Parents of the youth take turns preparing the meals. Following the meal we generally split up into two age groupings: 6th & 7th Graders make up the “Younger Youth” while 8th –12th Graders comprise the “Older Youth.” Both groups will have assigned activities and adult leaders for their time together. Each night’s activities fall into one or more of the following four categories: Fun/Fellowship, Living/Learning, Service and Worship. We end the night together at 7:30 pm unless you are notified of an alternate ending time. Please join us as we grow together in our community of faith.
