Join us for this 4-week yoga series led by Ros Schwarz in the Fellowship Hall.
Yoga is the ancient Indian discipline of calming and focusing the mind. In this four-week series, participants will learn a sequence of body movements that can be taken home as the basis of a personal practice. No prior experience is necessary.

In these classes, the breath guides gentle, repeated body movements, followed by a brief rest and breath-work. There will be a combination of standing, kneeling, lying on the belly, lying on the back, bending forward, and gentle twisting. We will avoid strenuous postures like hand balances and classical inversions, and chair-based modifications may be offered as needed.
Things to bring: A yoga mat or towel, and clothes you van move comfortably in. You may also bring a blanket to cushion the joints, and for final rest.

She was raised in the Binkley community, attending church with her mother and grandparents, Priscilla, Robert, and June Bratcher.
