The Apartheid-Free Working Group (AFWG) leads Binkley and the wider community in education and action to end support for Israel's apartheid regime, settler colonialism, and military occupation. AFWG began its work in June 2024. Binkley officially became an Apartheid-Free congregation following extensive awareness activities and a vote finalized on February 21, 2025. We have also held events in collaboration with Voices for Justice in Palestine, and have long supported the work of Hope Flowers School in Bethlehem.
